My name is Carol Colman and I am an accredited by the Irish Institute of Celebrants.
I completed an eight month practical course with the IIOC. My training consisted of modules covering storytelling, ceremony enhancements, crafting a couples love story, creating and writing a ceremony, ceremony rituals and traditions.
Accredited Celebrants from the Irish Institute of Celebrants are dedicated to promoting the use of ceremony to help couples create a ceremony that reflects the couple’s beliefs, philosophy of life, style, personal stories and personality.
I am also a member of the Irish Ethical Celebrants Society. As Ireland's largest professional celebrant society, the ICES is a self governing, inclusive, caring community who celebrates all milestones in life.
Planning your wedding, vow renewal or baby naming ceremony can be a busy time, but I can assist in your planning from the moment you get in touch.
Once you get in touch, we can arrange a face to face meeting which usually takes around 1 to 2 hours. During this consultation I talk through your ceremony from start to finish discussing what ideas you both have, who you want to include in your ceremony, what readings you would like, the music you both love and ceremony enhancements you would like to include.
I can provide resources for you to use.
Following on from the consultation I will create your ceremony and send you the first draft for your review. Leading up to your big day, I go back and forth making any amendments or additions. We can arrange another call a few weeks before your ceremony to finalise your ceremony. I will arrive at your venue an hour before the start of the ceremony to ensure your ceremony will run smoothly.
